3. Select the file formats which you would like to import in the "File type" drop-down list.

TS and CSV files
– TS files: Importing of DB2 alarm texts that were copied directly from the NCU.
– CSV file: Importing of DB2 alarm texts that were converted beforehand into the CSV
format, for example with AMM /P2P.
4. Check the checkboxes of the desired files individually or activate the higher-level
checkboxes to import all of the displayed files.
5. Confirm the selection with "Import".
Result
The SINUMERIK user alarm texts have been imported.
Only the alarm texts of the alarm numbers 5xx.xxx … 9xx.xxx relevant in the TIA Portal are
taken into account here.
Note that the imported texts are only visible in the TIA Portal if one of the languages is selected
as the editing language for which the texts were imported.
If the SINUMERIK PLC alarm texts are re-imported, the texts in the TIA Portal are deleted or
overwritten.
