4.11 Edit blocks
The individual blocks of the PLC basic program or the user program can be edited directly in the
TIA Portal using the STEP 7 editors.
Information about these functions and editors is available in the higher-level help
"Programming the PLC" and in the STEP 7 Professional System Manual. (Sometimes functions
for specific PLCs are discussed there. Information that also concerns the SINUMERIK 840D sl
PLCs is marked with "S7-300".)
