Example
Maximum weighing range= 100 kg
Maximum positive zeroing limit = 10%
→ Up to 10 kg (10% of 100 kg) can be set to zero by the function on power on.
6.5.21 Semi-automatic zero-setting device limit negative (% of max.)
[semiAutomaticZeroSettingLimitNegative]
Max. permissible negative deviation from the calibration zero point if the functions "Semi-
automatic zero-setting“ (command 21), "Automatic zero-setting device" and "Zero tracking
device" are used. The setting is made in % in reference to the maximum load of the weighing
range 1.
With scales requiring official calibration, the sum of the negative and positive limit value may not
exceed 4%.
Example
Max. weighing range = 100 kg
Maximum negative zeroing limit = 3%
→ Up to 3 kg (3% of 100 kg) can be set to zero by the zero setting functions.
6.5.22 Semi-automatic zero-setting device limit positive (% of max.)
[semiAutomaticZeroSettingLimitPositive]
Max. permissible positive deviation from the calibration zero point if the functions "Semi-
automatic zero-setting" (command 21), "Automatic zero-setting device" and "Zero tracking
device" are used. The setting is made in % in reference to the maximum load of the weighing
range 1.
With scales requiring official calibration, the sum of the negative and positive limit value may not
exceed 4%.
Example
Maximum weighing range = 100 kg
Maximum negative zeroing limit = 1%
→ Up to 1 kg (1% of 100 kg) can be set to zero by the zero setting functions.
6.5.23 Stability monitoring
The electronic weighing system monitors the weight for stability and reports the stability weight
via a status signal (stability 1 and 2). The stability monitoring is defined via the stability weight
and a stability time. The electronic weighing system uses the stability status as follows:
Stability 1: Must exist to start commands such as zeroing or taring.
Stability 2: Must exist to start automatic log printing, perform tolerance checks or totaling the
weight.
