6.3.2 Installing and removing memory module
Requirement
● The device is disconnected from the mains and all connecting cables have been
removed.
● You have noted the information on combination options and the conditions of use of
memory modules under "Usable memory modules (Page 76)".
● The device is open, see "Opening the Device (Page 71)".
The electronic components on the assembled PCBs are highly sensitive to electrostatic
discharge and can be destroyed by it.
Take appropriate precautionary measures.
• See the notes under "General safety instructions (Page 25)".
Note
When equipping the memory modules, make sure that the memory modules are equipped in
the following order:
1 memory module: Slot at the very end (2-1)
2 memory modules: Slot at the very end (2-1) and the third from the end (1-1)
3 memory modules: not allowed
4 memory modules: all slots (2-1, 2-2, 1-1, 1-2)
