1.4 Structure of the nameplate
The nameplate is located on the housing of the optical reader and shows the article number
and other important product information. The following graphic shows an example of the
configuration and possible elements of a nameplate. Note that the reader has only those
certificates and approvals which are shown on the nameplate of the respective reader.

Reserved MAC address
One or two MAC addresses are reserved ex factory. The MAC address of the interface "X1
LAN1" is shown on the nameplate, the MAC address of the interface "X2 LAN2" is +2 higher as
the "X1 LAN1" interface.
