7.1 Introduction
Commissioning consists mainly of checking the mechanical scale structure, setting
parameters, calibration, and verification of the envisaged functionality. A lot of helpful
information concerning the correct mechanical design of a belt scale can be found in the

7.2 Factory-set parameters
The electronic weighing system described here is provided with factory-set parameters.
Parameters which can be entered in % or time are preset in such a way that they provide
good results for most applications.
