DIMAQ Utility
For software versions 2.0 and higher:
The system displays the DIMAQ Utility screen when you press the F4 key
on the keyboard and then select DIMAQ Utility on the left of the
Preset Main Menu.
The system displays the number of days since the most recent
defragmentation in the HD Defragmentation section of the screen. The
system also displays the currently installed version of DIMAQ in the
DIMAQ Install section of the screen.
In the table below, titles of sections are indicated in brackets ([]).
Selection Description
[DIMAQ Study Access]
Password
Displays the a dialog box for entry of the new
password. If a password already exists, then the
system also requires entry of the existing password.
Lock DIMAQ
Reactivates password protection.
Note: This selection is available when you activate
password protection and then enter the password to
view patient information.
Password Protection
Enable activates password protection after
confirming the password.
Disable deactivates password protection after
confirming the password.
[HD Defragmentation]
Defrag Now
Defragments the system's hard disk.
Defragmentation
reminder after 30 days
When enabled (selected) and 30 or more days have
lapsed since the most recent defragmentation,
displays a defragmentation reminder every 24 hours
when you access a DIMAQ screen.
[DIMAQ Install]
Patch
Installs a DIMAQ software patch.
Version up
Installs a higher DIMAQ software version.
Full install
Installs DIMAQ software.
[Printer]
Install Printer
Installs a USB printer.
[CDR]
Write speed
Specifies the write speed for the CD drive on the
ultrasound system.
[Network]
Show network status
When enabled (selected), indicates the status of
network connection in the Network section of the
Study screen.
