Doppler LCD Selections
When Doppler is active, you can access the related LCD selections by
rotating the FUNCTION SELECT control on the LCD panel to highlight the
D tab on the LCD.
LCD Selection Description Settings
|Full D
Activates a full-screen format for Doppler spectrum. On, Off
|Filter
Sets the cutoff frequency for the Wall Filter. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6
|
Color
Colorizes a Doppler spectrum. Off, Sepia, Mag, Temp,
or Bow
|
Sweep Speed
Adjusts the scrolling speed of the Doppler spectrum. 2sec, 4sec, 8sec,
or 16sec
|
Trace Mode
During pulsed Doppler, displays a blue graphical trace
that tracks Mode velocities or frequencies of
the spectrum.
Full (trace above and
below baseline), Up (trace
above baseline), or Off

Trace Mean
During pulsed Doppler, displays a yellow graphical trace
that tracks Mean velocities or frequencies of
the spectrum.
Full (trace above and
below baseline), Up (trace

Trace Min
During pulsed Doppler, displays a red graphical trace
that tracks Minimum velocities or frequencies of
the spectrum.

Trace Max
During pulsed Doppler, displays a white graphical trace
that tracks Maximum velocities or frequencies of
the spectrum.

HPRF
Activates a High Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF).

2D Update
Selects how many seconds the 2D-mode image is
updated during the image refresh of the Update function
with the Doppler spectrum.
Off, 1sec, 2sec, 3sec,
or 4sec

Reject
Decreases or increases the level of gray shades
eliminated from the image.
0 to 64 in increments of 2
|
Audio Balance
Shifts the Doppler volume balance to the right or left. -8 to 8 in increments of 1
|
Pre Process
Selects a curve for enhancing the Doppler spectrum. 0, 1, 2, or 3
|
Post Process
Changes the gray scale of the spectrum. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7
|
Scale
Selects a scale for use with Doppler. Freq (frequency scale
only), Vel (velocity scale
only), or F/V (velocity and
frequency scale)
