2D-Mode LCD Selections
You can access the 2D-mode LCD selections by rotating the
FUNCTION SELECT control on the LCD panel to highlight the 2D tab on
the LCD.
LCD Selection Description Settings
|DR
(Dynamic Range)
Controls the overall contrast resolution of 2D-mode images. 35 dB to 70 dB in
1 dB increments
|Persistence
Creates a visible smoothing effect by maintaining more lines of
image data for each frame of imaging when the setting is
increased.
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5
|Edge Enhance
Distinguishes the edges of a structure. 0, 1, 2, or 3
|Gray Map
Selects a gray (processing) map. L, B, S, D, A, C
|Focus
For all curved, linear, or phased array transducers, selects the
number of focal zones.
Use the FOCUS control on the control panel to position the
markers.
1, 2, or 4
|FOV/POS
Resizes and repositions the field of view using the trackball. POS, FOV, Off
|A-mode
Activates or deactivates A-mode. On, Off
|Reset Map
Resets the current Gray Map curve back to the original factory
position.

Scan Angle
(Available for the SONOLINE G50 system only)
Adjusts the scan angle of the Endo-V II mechanical sector
transducer.
220, 160, 110, 80
|Modify Map
(Processing)
Allows changes to the shape of the current Gray Map with the
exception of Map L.
