To restore and lock the factory default monitor settings for brightness
and contrast:
1. Simultaneously press the two Brightness buttons (
) located on the
right front underside of the monitor.
The system restores the factory default setting of 32% for Brightness.
2. Simultaneously press the two Contrast buttons (
) located to the right
of the Brightness buttons.
The system restores the factory default setting of 86% for Contrast.
3. Press and hold the Degauss button (
) for 15 seconds or until the
system displays a notification message. The button is located on the left
front underside of the monitor.
The message notifies you that the 'OSD Main Menu is locked'.
Note: To unlock the monitor settings, repeat step 3 above.
This process assures consistent quality in the image display and reduces
the potential for image quality issues.
