8. Getting started
8.1 Setting up the blender
WARNING!
• Only use the device in dry, enclosed spaces. Never use it outdoors.
• Place the blender on an even and stable surface only. If the blender is not placed on an
even surface, it could tip over, possibly causing damage to property and injury.
• Make sure the power cable (6) is not in your working area. Otherwise, you could
accidentally pull on it and tip it over or make the blender fall off the work surface.
1. Unwind the power cord (6) to the length you want and guide it through the recess underneath the
motor block (7).
2. Place the motor unit (7) on an even, non-slip and dry surface. Do not connect the power cable (6)
plug to the mains socket yet!
9. Usage
9.1 Filling the blender jug
1. Remove the lid (2) and measuring cap (1) from the blender jug (4). To do this, twist the lid (2)
anticlockwise gently towards the until the catches on the edge of the lid (2) are exposed and lift it
upwards off the blender jug (4).
2. Add the desired ingredients to the blender jug (4). The table below gives a guideline on how to
process different foodstuffs. You can also estimate the quantity if there is no suitable marking on the
blender jug (4).
