11.4 Disassembling and cleaning the blender jug
Warning about property damage
The sealing ring (B) is not dishwasher-safe.
Do not disassemble the plastic base with cutting blade
(C). The cutting blade must stay attached to the plastic
base at any time.
Screw the plastic base with cutting blade (C) tightly
on the glass container (A), otherwise the contained
liquid can leak.
1. Hold the glass container (A) as shown opposite. Rotate the plastic
base with the cutting blade (C) clockwise to loosen it and separate
it from the glass container (A). Remove the sealing ring (B). Take
care not to lose the sealing ring (B) in the process.
2. Clean the glass container (A) and the plastic base with cutting
blade (C) in the sink or dishwasher. The sealing ring (B) is not
dishwasher-safe.
3. Clean the sealing ring (B) in warm water and washing-up liquid.
Rinse the sealing ring (B) with clean water and dry it thoroughly.
4. After cleaning, reinsert the sealing ring (B) into the corresponding
groove on the plastic base with cutting blade (C). The sealing ring
(B) should hold firmly now.
5. Twist the plastic base with the cutting blade (C) anticlockwise on
the glass container (A).
12. Storage when not in use
If you no longer need the blender, clean it as described in the section on “Cleaning”. Wind the power
