SECTION 1
GENERAL
Each 4100 Fire Alarm System is a factory-configured, hard-wired fire alarm system that provides for up to 1,000
points. Each point can consist of (a) one or more alarm initiating devices, (b) one or more signal appliances, (c) an
auxiliary relay, or (d) a feedback circuit. In addition, if software changes are needed, its possible to reconfigure a
4100 at the job site.
NOTE:
If the system connects to a municipal fire alarm system, the city connection is considered as one point.

configuration information.
MASTER CONTROLLER BOARD
Pl = Master Signal power
P2 = RS232C I/O connector
P3 = Master Controller Board power
P4 = Master Trouble and City Relay
P5 = Master Monitor Zone inputs (ZN 1 thru 8)
P6 = Master Auxiliary Relay outputs (AUX 1 and 2)
P7 = Master Signal Circuit outputs (SIG 1 and 2)
P8 = Internal Serial Communications port
P9 = Master Display interface
PlO = Master 64/64 LED-Switch I/O port
MASTER MOTHERBOARD (TERMINATION BOARD)
P4 = Master Trouble and City Relay
P5 = Master Monitor zones
P6 = Master Auxiliary Relays
P7 = Master Signal Circuits
TB2 = Monitor Zones ZN5 thru ZN8

TB4 = Master Trouble and City Circuits
