NOTE:
Remove JWl and R28 (25 Ohm, 7W) when batteries are not being charged by Master Power Supply.
JW2 = SYST CUR = OUT when board connects to a meter that measures system current. Otherwise, IN.
JW3 = SUPV CUR = OUT when board connects to a meter that measures supervisory current. Otherwise, IN.
(Unused in Rev. F or later.)
JW4 = EARTH BYPASS = OUT to disconnect Earth Monitor Circuit. Otherwise, IN.
JW5 = BAT BYPASS = OUT when system includes batteries. Otherwise, IN.
JW6, JW7 and JW8 = NREG = IN when power supply is non-regulated. Otherwise, OUT
JW9, JWlO and JW12 = REG = IN when power supply is regulated. Otherwise, OUT
JWll = SUPV BYPASS = OUT when 120 VAC (supervisory power) connects to TB3. Otherwise, IN.
Fuses
Fl = 5A power limited (soldered in). Provides +24VDC to connector pins PIO-1 and Pll-1 (24VDC signal power,
output A) and, via fuse F3, provides +24VDC to TBl-1 and TBl-3.
F2 = 5A power limited (soldered in). Provides 24VDC to P12-1 and P13-1 (24VDC signal power, output B).
l
Connects to TBl-5 and TBl-7 on Rev. D or earlier boards.
NOTE:
If fuse Fl or F2 blows, replace the Power Supply Board and send the original board in for repair.
F3 = 3A pluggable. Provides +24VDC from Fl to TBl-1 and TBl-3.
F4 = 2A pluggable Slo-Blow. Connects to 120VAC input power at Terminal TB2-1. Provides 12OVAC to power
transformer and AC power monitor circuit.
F5 = 8A pluggable. Provides +24VDC power to Pin 4 on Connectors P2 thru P5 for Daughter Card power.
Potentiometers
R15 = Battery charging voltage adjust.
R23 = Fast charge adjust.
3
See Section 2 - Adjustments
R44 = Brownout adjust.
Connectors and Connector Pins
Pi = Power Monitor Status (PMS) circuit connector. The PMS circuit loops in and out of all expansion power supplies
via the 733-543 Harness (single cabinet) and/or the 733-536 Harness (multiple cabinets).
l
Pl-1 = PMSI (OV input from Power Monitor Status circuit).
l
Pl-2 = COIL (OV output telling additional power supplies to switch over to battery).
l
Pl-3 = 24C (24VDC COMMON).
NOTE:
Systems featuring but one power supply have TBl-4 (24V COMMON) and TBl-5 (PMIN) jumpered
together, and connector Pl is not used. For Rev. D (or earlier) systems, TBl-8 (24V COMMON) is jumpered
to TBl-9 (PMIN).
P2, P3, P4 and P5 = DC bus outputs for expansion motherboards.
l
Pin 1 = 8VDC COMMON (white wire on 733-525 harness).
l
Pin 2 = +8VDC OUTPUT.
l
Pin 3 = 24VDC COMMON.
3
Black wires on 733-525 harness
l
Pin 4 = +24VDC OUTPUT.
