Bracket mounting
Secure the bracket with two wood screws or
bolts (incl.).
10.3 Location for display unit
Determine which place is the most suitable and convenient for navigation and
general operation after considering the following conditions:
- you can see the ship’s bow when you raise or lower your eyes from the dis-
play.
- there is limited exposure to direct sunlight to avoid overheating - see envi-
ronment temperature limits in 10.12 Specifications.
- there is good ventilation and minimum vibration.
- the minimum distance to a magnetic compass is 500mm (20”).
- provide sufficient space behind the unit to allow for proper cable connections
to the rear panel connectors.
