TheTV80offersaspectrumanalyserthatshowsyouthesignalsfromeachhydrophone.The
TV80allowsyoutoinspectthequalityofSR15andSR70ReceiverUnits.Thegraphinthe
Spectrumdialogboxprovidesyouwithinformationaboutthebackgroundnoiseandthe
signalstrengthintheselectedfrequencyband.
Prerequisites
Thefollowingrequirementsmustbemet:
•TheReceiverUnitisoperational.
•EachinputontheReceiverUnitisoperational.
Context
Thequalityoftheacousticcommunicationlinkbetweenthesensorsandthereceivercanbe
challengedbynoise.Whennoiseappearsinthesamefrequencyrangeasthesensorsare
usingfortheircommunication,theresultinginformationmaybeunstableorunreadable.

noiseandthesignalstrengthintheselectedfrequencyband.Withthisinformationyoucan
identifynoiseandndthe"cleanest"frequencies.
