Description
Inordertocongureacatchmonitoringsensor,itmustbeconnectedtotheProcessorUnit
withadedicatedConguratorcable.Ifyouwishtouseoldersensors(notPXfamily),these
mustbeconguredusingtheirdedicatedapplicationsbefore
youaddthem.
Thedecisiontocongureasensorisoneyoumustmakedependingonhowmanysensors
youuse,andhowmanyoftheseareidentical.
Dedicateddialogboxesareprovidedtocongurethenewsensor.Dependingonthetype
ofsensor,itslocationonthegearandwhereitpointsto(vesselorgear),theparameters
maychange.Inordertomakeadecisionuponeveryparameter,werecommendyoutoget
familiarwiththeparametersdescriptions.
Ifyouprogramasensorforonefunction(ormeasurement)inonelocation,itwillnotwork
ifyouinstallitsomewhereelse.
