conguresomespecialfeatureslikethelearnmode.Theconguratorparametersallowyou
tosetupwhichmeasurementsthesensorshallmakeandwhichcommunicationchannelsit
shalluseforthesemeasurements.
Prerequisites
Ifcongurationisrequired,thenewsensormustbeconnectedtotheProcessorUnitwitha
dedicatedinterfaceunitorcable.
Inordertoreadcatchmonitoringsensordata,youmustrstconnectoneormorereceiver
unitstotheProcessorUnit.

Context
CatchmonitoringsensorsaredeliveredfromKongsbergMaritimeASreadilysetupwith
commondefaultsettings.Insomecases,youmayndthatthedefaultparametersdonotsuit
youroperationalneeds.Whenrequired,eachindividualsensormaybeconguredtospecify
itscommunicationchannelandwhichmeasurementstomake.
Note
TheTV80onlyallowsyoutocongurePXsensors.Ifyouwishtouseoldersensors(notPX
family),thesemustbeconguredusingtheirdedicatedapplicationsbefore youaddthem.
Ifyournewsensorhasalreadybeencongured,youdonotneedtorepeattheconguration
processtouseit.
