Thisfunctionclearsthetextboxtoallowanewstreamofcommunicationdatato
startonablankpage.
Lock/Unlock
Youcan“lock”thenotrecognizedsentences.Whenyou“lock”arednotrecognized
sentence,itwillbecomegrey.
SerialPortSetupdialogbox
SeriallinecommunicationisimportantforTV80operation.TheSerialPortSetupdialog
boxallowsyoutodenethecommunicationparametersforseriallineports.Theseports
aretypicallyusedforserialcommunicationwithcatchmonitoringsensorsorperipheral
systems.Theinformationfromexternaldevicesisbasedonserialline“datagrams”.For
mostcommercialdevices,theformatsofthesedatagramsaredenedbyNMEA(National
MarineElectronicsAssociation).
