Inordertoreadcatchmonitoringsensordata,youmustrstconnectoneormorereceiver
unitstotheProcessorUnit.TheTV80systemsupportsseveralreceiverunits.ThePI50and
PI60receiversmustbeconnectedtotheProcessorUnitwithaserialline.
Prerequisites
ThisprocedureassumesthatareceiverhasbeenconnectedtotheProcessorUnitbymeans
ofaserialline,andthatthecommunicationlinehasbeeninitiated.IftheProcessorUnitis
notttedwithasuitableseriallineconnector,useaUSB-to-serialconverter.
Context
ThecommunicationbetweenthePI50andPI60ReceiverUnitsandtheProcessorUnit
ismadeusinga(1:1)serialline.
Procedure
1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.
3ObservetheI/OSetuppageontherightsideoftheInstallationdialogbox.
4ObservethattheavailableserialinterfaceportsontheProcessorUnit
arelisted.
Nexttoeveryporticon,agreenindicatorshowsitisavailable,whilea
redoneshowsitisnotavailable.
5Selecttheserialportthereceiverisconnectedto.
6IntheSelectInput(Serial)dialogbox,selectthereceiveryouwishtoconnectto,and
thenselectOK
