Somecomputershavegraphicadaptersthatarenotabletodetecttheresolutionofthe
currentdisplay.Thislimitationcanalsobecausedbythedisplaycable,orbyimperfections
inadisplaymatrixsystem.Insuchcases,youmustusethefunctionalityoftheoperating
systemtoadjustthescreenresolution.
Prerequisites
ThisprocedureismadefortheMicrosoft

7operatingsystem.Itisassumed
thatyouarefamiliarwiththisoperating
system.
Context
Asageneralrecommendation,youshould
setthescreenresolutionashighaspossible.
Thiswillallowyoumore"space"inthe
TV80presentationtooffermoredetailed
information.Thephysicalwidthofyourtop
barwillalsobeextended,andfreespacefor
iconsandnavigationalinformation.
Unlessyouchangethehardware(computer,
graphicadapterordisplay),youwillonly
needtodothisonce.
Procedure
1OntheProcessorUnit,closetheTV80program.
2Inthebottom-leftcornerofyourdesktop,selecttheWindows
®
Startbutton.
3Ontheright-handsideoftheStartmenu,selectControlPanel.
4ObservethattheControlPanelopens.
5IntheControlPaneldialogbox,underAppearanceandPersonalization,clickAdjust
screenresolution.
6Changethedisplaysettings.
aVerifythatthecorrectdisplayisshown.
bChangetheresolutiontomaximumpermittedresolutionforyourdisplay.
cClickOK.
dObservethatthescreenresolutionchanges.
