theInternetProtocolSuite,thesetofnetworkprotocolsalsousedforthe
Internet.WithUDP,computerapplicationscansendmessages,inthis
casereferredtoasdatagrams,tootherhostsonanInternetProtocol
(IP)networkwithoutrequiringpriorcommunicationstosetupspecial
