BeforeyoucanputyourCatchmonitoringsoftwaretowork,theoperationalsoftwaremust
beinstalledontheProcessorUnit.
Prerequisites
Inordertoinstallthesoftware,youneedtherelevantlesetonasuitablemedia.Ifthe
softwareisprovidedonaCDoraDVD,andyourcomputerisnotttedwithasuitable
drive,copythelestoaUSBashdrive.
Note
VerifythatyouhaveadministrativerightsontheProcessorUnit.Youneedthistoinstallthe
software.Ifyoupurchasedyourowncomputer,youmustverifythatitmeetsthetechnical
requirements.Dothisbefore
youinstallthesoftware.
Context
Avalidsoftwarelicenseisrequiredtousetheprogram.Thelicensestringisaddedafter
thesoftwareinstallation.
Procedure
1TurnontheProcessorUnit.
2Insertthesoftwaremedia.
IfthesoftwareisprovidedonaCDorDVD,andyourProcessorUnitisnotttedwith
asuitabledrive,copythelestoaUSBashdrive.
3UsealemanagerapplicationontheProcessorUnittoaccessthesoftwareles.
4Double-clickSetup.exetostarttheinstallation.
5Allowtheinstallationwizardtorun.Followtheinstructionsprovided.
Werecommendthatyouinstallthesoftwareinthedefaultfoldersuggestedbythe
wizard.
6Oncethesoftwareinstallationhasbeencompleted,double-clicktheicononthedesktop
tostarttheprogram.
7Dependingonyouroperatingsystemparameters,certaindialogboxesmayopen.
aTheWindows7Firewallmayopenadialogboxrequestinginformationaboutthe
network.SelectPublic,andthenselectAllowaccess.
bTheoperatingsystemmayalsoopenotherdialogboxestoverifythatthesoftware
canrunonthecomputer.Youmustofcoursepermitthis.
