commondefaultsettings.Whenrequired,eachindividualsensormaybeconguredto
specifyitscommunicationchannelandwhichmeasurementstomake.
Prerequisites
ThisprocedureassumesthatasuitablereceiverunithasbeenconnectedtotheProcessor
Unit,andthatallrelevantcommunicationparametershavebeendened.
Context
ThePXConguratordialogboxesallowyoutosetupwhichmeasurementsthesensorshall
make,thecommunicationchannelandsomeotherrelevantparameters.
Note
TheTV80onlyallowsyoutocongurePXsensors.Ifyouwishtouseoldersensors(notPX
family),thesemustbeconguredusingtheirdedicatedapplicationsbefore youaddthem.
Procedure
1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.
3AtthebottomoftheSensorlistpage,selectAddNewSensor.
TheAddNewSensordialogboxopens.
4SelectY es.
5InthePXSensorConguratordialogbox,selectcommunicationportandsensortype,
thenselectConnect.
6Atthetopofthedialogbox,selectPI50orPI60Receiverunit.
7Inthetrawlillustration,selectthelocationofthesensoronthetrawl.
8Selectthedirectionthesensorisgoingtopointto,eithertothevesselortothetrawl.
9Choosethemeasurementsyouwantthesensortomakeanddenetherelevant
