communication.ClickOKtosavethechosenparametersandclosetheSerialPort
Setupdialogbox.
9Repeatforeachsensorinterfacethatyouneedtosetup.
Checkingthedatatransferonaserialline
ThecommunicationbetweentheProcessorUnitandperipheraldevicestakesplaceusing
"datagrams".Thesedatagramsareself-containedandindependententitiesofdatacarrying
information.WhensettingupormaintainingtheTV80,itisalwaysusefultoverifythatthe
communicationlineswithexternaldevicesareoperational.
Prerequisites
ThisprocedureassumesthatareceiverhasbeenconnectedtotheProcessorUnitby
meansofaserialline,andthatthecommunicationlinehasbeeninitiated.Alltherelevant
communicationparametershavebeendened.Theexternalsensorispoweredup,and
transmitsdata.
Procedure
1SelecttheSetupicon.
TheiconislocatedundertheMainmenu.ItisusedtoopentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
