IfyouwishtousethePXMultisensortomeasurethepitchandrollofthetrawldoors,you
mustcalibratethesensor.YoucancalibrateasensorinthePXMultiSensorCongurator
dialogbox.Ifyouknowthedoorinstallationoffsetvalues,youcanentermanuallythe
calibrationvalues.
Prerequisites
ThePXMultiSensorConguratordialogboxisonlyavailableif:
•Youhaveconnectedthesensortoyoucomputerthroughtheconguratorcable.
•Thereisareceiverunitconnectedtothesystem.
Context
Wheneverasensorismountedonatrawldoor,thepitchandrollmeasurementsneedtobe
calibrated.Ifyoudonotcalibrateyoursensorsyouwillnotknowifthepitchandroll
readingsarecorrect.Ifexistingsensorshavebeenreplaced,ornewsensorshavebeen
installed,anewcalibrationisalwaysrequired.Ifthedoorinstallationoffsetvaluesare
knownandyouneedtoperformanewcalibration-ifyouloseacatchmonitoringsensor
andneedanewoneorifyouarehaveseveraldoorsandwanttoswitchthem,forexample-
youcanenterthevaluesmanually,hencesavingalotofextratime.
Procedure
1OpentheSetupmenu.
2OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
ObservethattheInstallationdialogboxopens.
3AtthebottomoftheSensorlistpage,selectAddNewSensor.
TheAddNewSensordialogboxopens.
4SelectY es.
5InthePXSensorConguratordialogbox,selectcommunicationportandsensortype,
thenselectConnect.
ThePXMultiSensorConguratordialogboxopens.
6SelectCalibrateSensor.
