TheSR70ReceiverUnitallowsyoutoreceiveinformationfrom:PXMultiSensormk2,
PXMultiCatchandPXTrawlEyesensors.TheReceiverUnitmustbeconnectedtothe
ProcessorUnitusinganEthernetline.
Prerequisites
InordertoconnectacatchsensortotheTV80system,thefollowingrequirementsmustbe
met.
•TheTV80softwareisinstalledontheProcessorUnit.
•Thelicensestringforthesoftwareisinstalledandactivated.
•OneormorereceiversareavailableforconnectiontotheTV80.
Context
TheSR70ReceiverUnitcomprisesaruggedboxprovidingallnecessaryreceiverelectronics.
Thereceiverisdesignedforlownoise,anditcanhandleinputsignalsspanningaverylarge
instantaneousdynamicamplituderange.Alltargetsarecorrectlymeasuredanddisplayed.
Dependingonyourshingrequirements,youmayneedtoinstallmorethanonehydrophone
toreceivetheinformationfromthecatchsensors.Withasinglechannelreceiver,youmust
manuallyswitchbetweenthehydrophonestocheckwhichhydrophonethatprovidesthe
bestcommunication.TheSR70ReceiverUnitallowsyoutoconnectfourhydrophones.
Thisallowssimultaneousreceptionwithoutanyneedofswitchesorsplitters.
