3.1 General information on safety

• The chapter on safety provides an overview of all the important safety
aspects for ensuring optimum protection of personnel as well as safe and trouble-
free usage of the device, from the time of installation to the operation stage and
right through to the time of disposal.
Failure to comply with the detailed instructions and safety information in this
operating manual can result in persons being exposed to considerable risks and
the device being damaged.
The device has been designed and built in accordance with the state of the art and
recognised safety-related guidelines and standards.
The device is safe to operate.
Nevertheless, there may be residual hazards associated with the device for the
following circumstances:
