7.3.2 Filling device with powder
1. In "Sintratec Central", select the "3. Powder" tab.

Note
In order to be able to move the platforms or the coater for the steps below, the
door must be closed. Close or open the door as required during the sequence.
2. Use the "arrow" symbols to move the two platforms in small or large steps to
the required positions:
– Platform in print container to topmost position.
– Platform in powder container to bottommost position or to a position, where
the filling of an adequate amount of powder for the print object can be
achieved.
Note: For the sample print object, a height setting of approx. 3 cm from the
top is sufficient.

3. Fill the powder container with powder until it has been evenly and completely
filled to the top. Use a suitable, clean container for this purpose, e.g. a common
household jug.
4. Likewise fill the print container with powder until it has been evenly and
completely filled to the top.
5. Smooth out the top surfaces as much as possible, for example using a spatula.
