3.10.6 Hazards to the environment
Auxiliary materials such as oils, greases, solvents, etc. may contain toxic
substances which can contaminate soil and drinking water. Such materials must
not end up in the environment.
• Dispose of such materials in an environmentally-sound manner.
Comply with applicable local disposal regulations.
• Disposal must be carried out by a specialist disposal company.
• Comply with manufacturers’ specifications and information on safety data
sheets for the individual materials.
• Also comply with the specifications in the suppliers’ documentation.

3.11 Conduct in case of emergency

If a situation arises, whereupon there is a risk to life and limb, the device can be
deactivated by setting the main switch to the OFF position or detaching the mains
cable.
Note
The main switch should be operated only in situations where the safety of
persons or the device is jeopardised,
or else to deactivate the device completely, if the device is in standby mode and
has cooled down.
