7.1.1 Personal protective equipment
The following types of protective equipment are to be used during operation to
ensure safe handling:
Respiratory protection
Always to be used when handling powder.
Protective goggles
Always to be used when handling powder.
Hand protection
Latex gloves are always to be used when handling powder.
Suitable work gloves are to be used when handling the device or
print object while this is still hot.

7.2 Operating and auxiliary materials
The following operating and auxiliary materials are to be provided for a printing
process:
• Powder (in sufficient quantity)
• Container in which powder is filled (e.g. a common household jug)
• Container for residual powder
• Vacuum cleaner for powder (recommended) (small bag-free vacuum cleaner
suitable for removing powder)
• Spatula
• Brushes
• Scoop
• Mesh 100 sieve (mesh size: 150 μm)
