8) TRANSFER
If th e owne rsh ip of a product is tra nsferred durin g the wa rranty co v-
er age period, this warranty shal l als o be trans ferred and be valid fo r
th e remaining cov era ge p eriod provid ed that BRP is n otifie d of such
transfer of ow nershi p i n the follow ing way :
a) The former owner contacts BRP (at the phone number provided
below) or an authorized BRP dealer and gives the coordinat es
of the new owner; or
b) BRP or an authorized B RP dealer receives a proof that the for-
mer owner ag reed to th e transfer of ownershi p, in addi tion to
th e c oordinate s of the new owne r.
9) CO NSUM ER ASSISTANCE
(a) In the event of a controversy or a dispute in connection with this
limi ted warranty, BR P suggests tha t you try to resol ve the issue at
the deal ership level. We recommend discussing the issue with the
authorized dealer's service manager or owner.
(b) If the issue has not yet been resolved, please submit your com-
plaint in wr iting or call the appropriate number below:
