ning. Wait until the reverse alarm sounds and the DESS/RER
pilot lam p com es on in the dash b efore operating th rottle to
procee d in rev ers e. Th e rev ers e s pee d of the se snowmobi les
is not lim ited. Always proceed with cau tion as fast reverse
could resu lt in loss of vehicle st ab ility. Come to complete
stop before depressing START/RER button. Always remain
seate d and a pply th e brake be fore shift ing. En su re the pa th
beh ind is cle ar of obstac le s or bystanders be fore proceeding.
W ith the snowmobile completely stopped and engine r unning at idle,
press and release the START/RER button.

pilot lamp will blink and a warning buzzer will
sound once every secon d with a half a second duration w hen the
snowmobile is engaged in reverse.
Apply throttle slowly and evenly. Allow drive pulley to engage then
acc elera te care ful ly.
Shifting in F orw ard
All Models
W ith the snowmobile completely stopped and engine r unning at idle,
press and release the START/RER button.
DES S/RER pilot lamp and warning buzzer will stop.

acc elera te care ful ly.
RE R Modification at High Altitude
Fan Cooled Models
General
At high altitude, the RE R system needs a diff erent engine ti ming
curve to work properly.
Operation
Before usin g the revers e system, first select the altitu de mode tha t
changes engine timing cu rve.
