4.2 Powering Down the Sirius 800
Before powering down the Sirius 800 router switch the Door PC off using one of the following
methods:
Method 1
1. Navigate to the Door PC main menu and touch the Exit button on the screen.
2. A new screen will be displayed with a Shutdown button.
3. Touch the Shutdown button and the Door PC will shutdown.
4. Wait until Windows closes and the screen goes black, then power down the Sirius
800. Make sure that all the external power supply shelves are switched off as quickly
as possible.
Method 2
1. Alternatively open the door and press and release the Door PC power switch
(see Fig 6.). The power switch does not latch in place.
2. This causes LiveRunner to close and Windows to shut down.
3. Wait until Windows closes and the screen goes black, then power down the Sirius
800. Make sure that all the external power supply shelves are switched off as quickly
as possible.
To avoid overloading the individual external power supply units, make sure that all the
external power supply shelves are switched off as quickly as possible.
