WARNING!
The metallic enclosure of the
power optimizer must have equipment
grounding. Perform the following in order to properly ground the
power
optimizer
enclosure. Grounding of the power optimizer can be performed in
either of two ways:

For mounting the power optimizer on a grounded rail, use the provided
5/16'' stainless steel star washer between the railing and the flat side of
the mounting
bracket. The star washer should break through the anodize
coating of the railing to ensure low-resistive connection.
Pour le montage de l'optimiseur de puissance sur rail mis à la terre,
utilisez la rondelle étoile en acier inoxydable 5/16'' fournie,
entre le rail et
le côté de la bretelle de montage non recouverte. La rondelle étoile doit
traverser le revêtement anodisé du rail pour assurer une adhésion à
basse résistivité.

For mounting the power optimizer on an un-grounded structure (such as
a wooden structure), connect an equipment grounding conductor to the
grounding terminal. The grounding terminal will accept a wire size of
6-14 AWG, and must be sized for equipment per NEC 250.122.

à la terre (comme une structure en bois), connectez un conducteur de
mise à la terre à la borne de mise à la terre. La borne de mise à la terre
accepte une taille de fil de 6-14 AWG, et doit être dimensionné pour
équipement conforme au NEC 250.122.
