Creating an RS232 (UART)
Connection
This communication option is provided in all inverters by default. It enables you
to connect the inverter via modems supplied by SolarEdge. You may refer to the
SolarEdge website for a list of the types of modems offered, which includes GSM
and WiFi modems. Each modem is provided with its own user manual which
should be reviewed.

When connecting via RS232, make sure to use a shielded connector so as not to
interfere with other devices in the vicinity.

The RS232 conector on the bottom of the inverter is safe to touch during normal
operation of the Single Phase Inverter
