7-6-3. External zero point
This performs the same operation as scale unit zero point input. However, since a photo-coupler is inserted to protect the
external contact point, the response time is slower than that for the scale unit zero point.
Note
The external zero point allows a contact point switch to be used as a zero point. It does not support Sony Precision Technology
Magne-switches.
Input the external zero point.
The input is processed as zero point input only during the
zero point wait status.

This functions as the display mode switching input. See 7-5. Mode Switching.

This is valid only when the RS-232C unit LZ51-C (option) is connected. See 7-4. Print Key Operations.
