The unit gives an
incorrect count
(or gives an incorrect
count sometimes).
The unit does not give
accurate data.
Turn off the POWER switch and turn it on after three seconds.
Make sure the scale unit connection is not loose.
Make sure the unit is completely grounded. Make sure the grounding portion
is not rusted or bent.
Make sure the power voltage does not exceed the allowable range using the
AC stabilizing circuit AVR.
Make sure the grounding location and method are correct.
Make sure the input scale unit resolution settings are correct.
(If they are incorrect, perform the initial settings again.)
Make sure the unit always counts correctly.
Make sure there are no problems in the mechanical system.
(Check for bending and play. Check after any mechanical adjustments.)
Make sure there is no temperature difference at a particular part (scale unit,
machine, work).
Make sure the input scale resolution settings are correct.
(If they are incorrect, perform the initial settings again.)
Is the key lock function enabled? (Reset item 4-6-11. (P.157).)
Has the external contact point input been left on? The external contact point
input functions as one of the keys, so other keys do not operate while it is on.
Upon determining the trouble cause using the above table, take appropriate action.
If you think the unit requires servicing, contact your Sony Precision Technology distributor.
Key operation is not
possible.
