3-4. P ROLLER ARM ASS’Y (Fig. 3-8)
1) Remove the washer @.
2) Unfasten the P arm spring @ from the hook ® and pull
out the P roller arm ass’y @.
[Precautions on remounting]
© Ensure that the P arm spring @ is secured with hook ®
(Fig. A).
© Take care to prevent the P arm spring @ from overriding
the shaft seat ©.
© When installing the P roller arm ass’y @, place the assem-
bly on the right side of hook © (Fig. A).
© Removed washers should not be reused.

3-5. AH BASE ASS’Y (Fig. 3-9)
1) Remove the cleaning lever ass’y as instructed in Section
3-3.
2) Remove the ADJ spring @.
3) Remove the screw @.
4) Pull out the AH base ass’y @ and remove the AH base
spring ©.
[Precautions on remounting]
OEnsure that the ADJ spring @ is secured with hook @.
© When installing the AH base ass’y @, tighten screw @ until
the AH base ass’y is not in contact with the P roller ass’y.
[Adjustment after replacement]
© Perform tape path adjustments as described in 4-1].
