ify that the suggested exposure values are suitable for
the patient. If AES is disabled, set the exposure values
manually and press Return to drive the unit into expo-
sure start position (optional).
6. Press Return to drive the unit to ‘patient in’ position.
7. Ask the patient to remove any spectacles, hearing aids,
removable dentures, jewelry and hair clips and pins.
Place a protective lead apron on the patient.
