3. Adjust the unit height.
4. Guide the patient to the unit facing the sensor. Instruct
the patient to stand as straight and tall as possible un-
der the cephalostat head.
5. Turn the head ventral as reference to the canthomeatal
line about 30° below the horizontal plane.
6. Slide the ear rods towards patient’s ears.
7. Ask the patient open mouth maximally.

1. Unlock the lever and turn the ear rods to the PA projec-
tion position. Lock the position. Tilt the nasion support
aside.
