User Selectable Channel Setup Commands
Command Description
get channels
Display the list of current and new channel
settings.
get channels table {[index]}
Range Limits
1-8
Display the list of available particle sizes
for each channel. An optional channel
index may be entered to limit the scope to
a single channel.
set channels [chan1] [size1] {[chan2]
[size2]...}
Range Limits
Chan 1-8
Size 100-5000
Set new sizes for one or more channels.
Each setting consists of a channel number
(from 1 to 8) and a size for the channel
in nm. Sizes available for each channel
may be displayed using the “get channels
table” command. The “write channels”
command must be given to enable the
channels.
set channels all [size1] [size2] [size3]
[size4] [size5] [size6] [size7] [size8]
Range Limits
100-5000
Set all eight channels to the sizes provided
in nm.
• The “write channels” command
must be given to enable the
channels.
set channels default
Sets the list of new channel sizes to factory
defaults.
• The “write channels” command
must be given to enable the
channels.
set channels units um | nm
Set the channel units to either nm or m.
• The “write channels” command
must be given to enable the new
units.
write channels
Write the variable channel configuration
to EEPROM and reboot the instrument.
All data must be removed from the
instrument.
