Adjusting the Tilt position sensor
1. Ensure that the pan drive is correctly set. Once this is set send the tilt to its mid position (50%)
and then remove the plastic access plate on the side of the yoke to expose the tilt position
potentiometer.
2. Slacken off the two pot retaining clamps and rotate the pot until the tilt is in the mid position. Re-
tighten the clamps and replace the access cover.
3. The Tilt position mechanism is mounted on a spring loaded plate to ensure a constant mesh and
side load. If this plate is removed, care should be taken as the plate is under tension. Slacken all 3
fixing screws and tilt the plate to remove tension before removing the top 2 screws and springs.
