Adjusting the Tilt Gearbox
The tilt gearbox is factory set and should not need any adjustment. However, if the unit has been
programmed in a situation with lots of fast, repetitive tilt moves, the tilt gearbox backlash may need to
be adjusted to regain optimum performance.
1. Remove all the head modules.
2. Unplug and remove the head motherboard
3. Loosen the motor mounting plate screws from the outside of the unit.
4. From the inside of the unit, loosen off the two remaining screws
holding the motor plate.
5. Push the motor plate upwards, towards the front of the head, and
tighten up the hex cap head screw.
6. Then push the motor plate inwards, towards the hole in the tilt
bearing and tighten up the flat headed screw.
7. Check and retighten both screws and then holding the yoke, check
for play in the head movement.
8. Re-assemble unit and reset tilt sensor (if necessary)
