7-50 CHASSIS
REMOVAL
• Remove the exhaust pipe and exhaust muffler. ("3-6)
• Raise the rear wheel off the ground and support the motorcy-
cle with a jack or wooden block.
• Remove the rear wheel. ("7-36)
• Remove the rear brake hose guides

1.
• Remove the cushion rods

2.
• Remove the shock absorber lower mounting bolt

3.
• Remove the cushion lever

4.
• Remove the swingarm pivot shaft lock-nut with the special
tool.
$ 09940-14940: Swingarm pivot thrust adjuster socket
wrench
• Hold the swingarm pivot shaft

5 and remove the swingarm
pivot nut

6.
• Remove the swingarm pivot shaft with the special tool.
$ 09944-28320: Hexagon bit 19 mm
• Remove the chain cover

