FRONT FORK
Inspect the front forks for oil leakage, scoring or scratches on
the outer surface of the inner tubes. Replace any defective
parts, if necessary. (!7-17)
REAR SUSPENSION
Inspect the damper for oil leakage and the spring unit for dam-
age. Check that there is no play in the swingarm assembly.
Replace any defective parts, if necessary. (!7-45)
EXHAUST PIPE BOLT
• Tighten the exhaust pipe bolts and muffler mounting bolts to
the specified torque.

A: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)

Inspect every 12 000 km (7 500 miles, 12 months).

Tighten initially at 1 000 km (600 miles, 2 month) and
every 6 000 km (4 000 miles, 12 months) thereafter.
