ENGINE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
ENGINE REMOVAL
Before taking the engine out of the frame, wash the engine
using a steam cleaner. Engine removal is sequentially explained
in the following steps. Reinstall the engine by reversing the
removal procedure.
• Drain the engine oil. (!2-13)
• Drain the engine coolant. (!2-18)
• Remove the seat. (!7-4)
• Disconnect the battery


• Remove the fuel tank


• Disconnect the cooling fan motor and thermo-switch lead wire
coupler. (!6-5)
• Remove the radiator and water hoses. (!6-5)
• Remove the air cleaner box

