1) Measure the ignition coil primary peak voltage. (!8-25)
NOTE:
The ignition coil peak voltage inspection method is applicable only with the multi circuit tester and peak volt
adaptor.
Is the peak voltage OK?
Step4
1) Inspect the spark plug. (!2-6)
Is the spark plug OK?
Step5
1) Inspect the ignition coil. (!8-26)
Is the ignition coil OK?
Step6
1) Measure the CKP sensor peak voltage and its resistance.
NOTE:
The CKP sensor peak voltage inspection is applicable only with the multi circuit tester and peak volt adaptor.
Is the peak voltage and resistance OK?
YES Go to Step4.
NO Go to Step5.
YES
• Improper spark plug connection.
• Go to Step5.
NO Faulty spark plug.
YES Go to Step6.
NO Faulty ignition coil.
YES
•Faulty ECM.
• Faulty wire harness.
• Improper ignition coupler connection.
NO Faulty CKP sensor.
