• Install the primary drive gear
1 and oil pump drive gear 2.
NOTE:
Position the oil pump drive gear
2, as shown in the illustration.
• Install the washer and primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear
nut
3.
NOTE:
This nut
3 has left hand threads.
• While holding the generator rotor with the special tool, tighten
the primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut
3 to the speci-
fied torque with a torque wrench.
% 09930-44530: Rotor holder
# Primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut:
50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m)
• Bend the lock washer securely.
GEARSHIFT
• Install each pawl into the gearshift cam driven gear.
1 Gearshift pawl
2 Pin
3 Spring
4 Gearshift cam driven gear

The large shoulder
