appliance and replace with a
new appliance.

Install the operating system
and storage disks into the
new appliance.
Step 3
Turn on the components in
the following order:
Turn on the storage shelf
that is the furthest away
from the appliance and
wait until the initialization
completes.
Turn on the storage shelf
that is nearest to the
appliance and wait until
the initialization
completes.
Turn on the main
appliance.
Note: If your environment
contains multiple appliances,
recover the master server
appliance first, then the media
server second.
Turn on the components.Step 4
Once you have verified that
the status of the appliance
hardware is healthy, check to
make sure that all NetBackup
services have resumed. All
backup jobs resume once the
appliance is turned on.
Verify that all NetBackup
services have started.
